Administrative action: The author may turn to the administrative machinery of state and bring an administrative complaint against an infringer,

Administrative fines: Fines not less than Php 5,000.00 but not more than Php 150,000.00 may be levied against the offender.

Criminal Prosecution: The infringer and those who aid and abet her shall be punished by a range of fines according to the degree of recidivism of the offender:

First offense: Imprisonment of 1 year to 3 years plus a fine ranging from Php 50,000.00 to Php 150,000.00.

Second offense: Imprisonment of 3 years and 1 day to 6 years plus a fine ranging from Php 150,000.00 to Php 500,000.00.

Third offense: Imprisonment of 6 years and 1 day to 9 years plus a fine ranging from Php 500,000.00 to Php 1,000,000.00.
